My son (age 3 & 1/2) loves his superhero cape! He thinks it’s Batman even though it’s a spider on the back. He doesn’t care. I like it because I wanted a cape that had a velcro attachment on the collar. That way if the cape gets caught on something or some jealous little kid tries to pull it off, he won’t choke. It will just open up & come off. And that way he can wear it to daycare. They don’t even allow scarves, they are so afraid of kids choking. I haven’t tried washing it yet so I don’t know how it washes though I would probably hand wash in cold water. I did have to tell my son that it was for “pretend flying” only. I’m very safety-conscious.
